This is a beautiful Turbo Marmoratus shell, also known as the green turban, the marbled turban or great green turban. It measures approximately 6 inches long.

These beautiful shells are from the Indo-Pacific region and are found in tropical reefs. They are commercially fished as a source of mother of pearl.
