Kilfrost is not an additive. It positively prevents the freezing of pneumatic equipment caused by the formation of ice in an around exhaust ports and valves.
It works by absorbing water or condensation in the air and depressing the freezing point of the solution formed, so maintains high extreme pressure properties.
